Tinea Versicolor

Tinea Versicolor is a relatively common ailment resulting from a fungal infection. The condition is caused by a type of fungus called Malassezia, which occurs naturally on the human skin. However, when Malassezia is left unchecked it can sometimes affect the pigmentation of your skin results n discolored patched of scaly skin. Tinea Versicolor can often be easily treated with over the counter anti-fungal creams and medications. These creams usually need to be applied several times a day over a period of several weeks. After using the anti-fungal cream as instructed, the Tinea Versicolor should disappear without a trace.
